We’re proud to introduce a groundbreaking joint venture between Sucro, renowned for its innovative supply chain solutions, and Santander Sugar Group, known for its proven track record in local sugar production and sustainability.

Sucro and Santander have joined forces to supply the Caribbean market with refined sugar. By pooling together their expertise, experience, and entrepreneurial spirit, Caribbean Sugar Refinery is
poised to revitalize the industry from within.

Our new refinery, located in Belize, will drastically reduce the Caribbean’s reliance on imported refined sugar, much of which is shipped in costly and unreliable containers. With a dedicated shipping vessel from Belize to Trinidad, as well as direct routes from Trinidad to the wider Caribbean, we’re reducing lead times and ensuring a more stable, efficient supply chain across the region.

This is the opportunity the region has been waiting for. It’s the return of Caribbean sugar.
